Use the Chaos as Inspiration

Sound artist and architect Machinist, a.k.a. Zeno van den Broek, is fascinated by spaces. In his music, video art, and paintings, he is always looking for ways to create new spatial experiences. For Zeno, avant-garde means being in a constant state of evolution. He sees every work as an investigation and a new search for ways to capture in an audible or tangible form how spaces work. Having trained as an architect, he considers his perspective on sound less influenced by obvious musical blueprints. Together with Lasse Gerrits and Sven Schlijper, Zeno founded PAUME, or Platform for Avant-Garde & Urban Media Explorations.
