The Magic of Being Different

The members-only club Magic Castle in the Hollywood Hills is Mecca for magicians. When Brett Loudermilk was a little boy, he dreamt of coming to this place. Fascinated by the world of magic, circus, and performance, his childhood was different from others. He walked on glass, hammered nails into his nose, and when he saw a sword swallower on TV at the age of 15, he tracked down the performer's number and asked the man to teach him over the phone. Today Brett is 23 years old and still the youngest professional sword swallower in the world. He brings humor and a modern approach to one of the oldest and fast-disappearing forms of attraction. Brett eventually discovered another magician at the Magic Castle: Rob Zabrecky. Together they are breathing new life into one of the oldest professions in the world.
