ST. MORITZ: The Avant/Garde Diaries Studio at Art Masters

Most people prefer the Swiss Alps in wintertime. And why shoudn’t they? The skiing is wonderful, the native chocolate ideal for coco, and the warm hearth of a chalet tough to beat. But hey, there’s plenty going on in summer. The flowers are in bloom, alphorns are played, and the St. Mortiz Art Masters, which runs between August 30 and September 2, brings some of the world’s most prominent artists to town. The Avant/Garde Diaries will be stopping by before our upcoming event in London to present, “The Avant/Garde Diaries Studio.”

The Studio features an interactive exhibition in collaboration with Swiss photographer, Lukas Wassmann, presenting an exclusive photo series captured during the festivities. It will be awesome, and it will be glamourous and irreverant, which is Wassmann’s stock in trade. Then on September 1, join The Avant/Garde Diaries for a round-table with artist Tom Sachs, LA MOCA Director Jeffrey Deitch, festival curator Reiner Opoku, and Director of Global Marketing and Communications for Mercedez-Benz cars, Lüder Fromm. What could these four possibly have in common? Come find out as they discuss the topic of “Art and Brands – a match made in heaven?” Yes, please.
