Peter Henderson is a remarkable writer from London who has earned respect from people like fashion designer Raf Simons and thecoolhunter.net through his blog Hapsical. Henderson began his blog as a forum to cover fashion, but he soon began writing about architecture, art, and design. For The Avant/Garde Diaries, he shared his singular view on the controversial Barbican compound in London’s financial district. The massive pile of concrete is an artifact of the Brutalist architecture which became a symbol of socialist utopian ideology.
